NSW: ‘ICE’, pistol, shotgun seized during raid

POLICE have charged two men and a woman after allegedly locating drugs and firearms during a raid at East Lismore, as part of an on-going investigation into the supply of ICE in the Richmond Local Area Command.

About 3pm on Thursday, detectives from the Richmond Local Area Command drug unit, assisted by officers from the Richmond LAC Target Action Group attended a house on Esmonde Street and executed a search warrant.

Police arrested a 35-year-old man, a 44-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman at the scene.

During a search of the house, police located drugs alleged to be 1.5kg of cannabis leaf, LSD in liquid and tab form, methylamphetamine (ICE), hash and prescription medication.

Police also allegedly located ammunition and two firearms being a .22 calibre pistol and a 12 gauge double-barrelled shotgun.

All three occupants of the house were taken to Lismore Police Station.

The 35-year-old man was charged with possess unauthorised pistol, not keep firearm safely, supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug (x2), manufacture prohibited drug, possess drug implement, and goods in custody.

The 44-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drug (x2), and possess prohibited drug (x2).

The 33-year-old woman was charged with possess prohibited drug (x2), and breach of bail.

All three were bail refused to appear before Lismore Local Court today (Friday 28 August 2015).

Investigations are continuing and further charges are expected.
