NSW: Little boy dies after being found in pool
A LITTLE boy has died after being pulled unconscious from a backyard swimming pool in Sydney’s south-west.
Emergency services were called to the family home on Northam Avenue at Bankstown just before 2.30pm yesterday after the four-year-old boy was found floating face down in the pool.
He was rushed by ambulance to the Westmead Children’s Hospital under a police escort, however died a short time after arriving.
Officers from the Bankstown Local Area Command will now prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
