NSW man charged after girl allegedly sexually assaulted in car
A MAN has been charged over the alleged aggravated sexual assault of a young girl known to him.
The 24-year-old was arrested by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse Squad at Bankstown Police Station yesterday.
Officers will allege in court that the man, who knew the 15-year-old girl through friends, sexually assaulted her in a car at Bankstown earlier this year.
He has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault – victim under 16 years of age.
The man was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court today.
