NSW: Man charged with bashing, stabbing girlfriend in terrifying 11-hour domestic

A MAN has been arrested and charged with allegedly abusing, bashing and repeatedly stabbing his girlfriend over an 11-hour period during a terrifying domestic fight in their Sydney home.

Police say the 20-year-old man kicked, punched and stabbed his 22-year-old partner five times in the upper body after the pair became involved in a heated argument at Revesby home in Sydney’s south west at around 4am on Saturday.

The man allegedly continued to emotionally abuse the woman throughout the day until about 3pm when she was able to leave the home and call police.


She was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment to her injuries which were considered only “minor”.

The 20-year-old man was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today.
