NSW: Man “critically hurt” in Castle Hill crash

A MOTORCYCLIST has been flown to hospital in a critical condition after becoming trapped under a parked car in a horrifying crash at Castle Hill, in Sydney’s north-west this morning.

Police say the man was riding his motorcycle south along Victoria Road about 9am when it appears he lost control while passing through a roundabout on Salisbury Street.

“The motorcycle slid across the road and the rider became trapped under a parked car,” police said in a statement.

The injured man, whose age remains unknown, was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition with serious head injuries and multiple fractures.

A crime scene has been established and specialist police are examining the crash site.

Traffic in the area is congested with only one lane open on Victoria Road.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes or delay travelling in the area.
