NSW: Man found unconscious, covered in blood outside club

A MAN has been charged over the vicious assault of another man outside a club at Rooty Hill early this morning.

The 34-year-old victim was found lying unconscious in the car park of the licensed venue on Sherbooke Road just after 1am.

Police and paramedics were called and the man was taken to Nepean Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition with a head injury.

Three men were arrested nearby and taken to Mt Druitt Police Station where a 19-year-old man was charged with assault and affray.

The young man, from Doonside, was granted conditional bail to appear in Mt Druitt Local Court on Thursday 24 September 2015.

Two other men were released without charge pending further investigations.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding an alleged second assault involving the same man. Anyone with information, or who witnessed either incident, is asked to contact Mt Druitt Police.
