NSW man wins Lotto jackpot after playing same numbers for 25 years

CHRISTMAS has come early for one man who, after playing the same Lotto numbers for a quarter of a century, this week won a cool million-dollar jackpot.

The unnamed man was stunned to learn his numbers had finally paid off after receiving the congratulatory call from NSW Lotteries yesterday.

“Are you freaking serious!,” the man exclaimed. “No! No! You’re not serious! I can’t believe it – I don’t like jokes like this in the morning!”

“Wow I’m so lucky! You’re kidding me! Thank you, thank you very much! If I could I would hug you right now!

“Oh my god! I was ready, waiting for this moment – I always believed that one day I would win something! I had a feeling!

“I’ve played these same numbers every week for 25 years I didn’t miss one week honestly!

“It will be the best Christmas ever! This has not just made my day but my life!”

The exuberant winning man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his 18-game marked entry from Hoxton Park Newsagency, Shop 4, 600 Hoxton Park Road in Hoxton Park.

Lance Lagudi is the owner of Hoxton Park Newsagency and was thrilled to have made a customer a millionaire.

“What amazing news for our division one winning customer who has now become a millionaire overnight!” Mr Lagudi exclaimed.

“It’s very exciting to have sold the only division one winning entry in last night’s draw! We wish our winning customer all the best with their new found fortune.”

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3612 on Monday 28 November 2016 were 39, 33, 42, 26, 37 and 35. The supplementary numbers were 21 and 36.

Across Australia, it was the only division one winning entry in Monday Lotto draw 3612, which offers a guaranteed $1 million division one prize for up to four winners in every draw.

The Lott’s division one winning entry tally has now reached 180 so far this financial year, including 55 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
