A woman who had just picked up her two young children from a New South Wales primary school has been charged with high-range drink driving.
The 42-year-old was pulled over on Frederick St in the Newcastle suburb of Merewether on Monday afternoon.
She was breath-tested where she returned a positive reading and was placed under arrest.

The woman was taken to Newcastle Police Station for a breath analsyis, where she returned a reading of 0.239.
The woman was charged with driving with high range PCA and had her NSW driver’s licence suspended on the spot.
She was granted bail to front Newcastle Local Court on July 18.
Police have also notified the Department of Family and Community Services.
