NSW: Parolee on the run after police allegedly find rifle, ammo in his car

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to help find a man who, while on parole, was allegedly busted by police with a rifle and a stash of bullets in his car during a random traffic stop in the NSW Hunter region just two days ago.

Thomas Maynard, 25, of Millers Forrest, was pulled over by police on Port Stephens Street at Raymond Terrace last Thursday.

Police say Maynard fled the scene and has not been seen since.

Anyone who sees Thomas Maynard is urged not to approach him but to contact police immediately.
