The NSW Police Force has honoured the Dallas police officers who were shot and killed in yesterday’s horrifying sniper ambush.
Acting NSW Police Commissioner, David Hudson, says the atrocious attack was an appalling reminder of the dangers police face in the line of duty.
Mr Hudson says the NSW Police Force stands shoulder-to-shoulder with their Dallas counterparts to mourn the loss of those officers.

“The circumstances those officers found themselves in was dreadful,” Acting Commissioner Hudson said.
Mr Hudson said the execution-style shootings “cannot be justified in any civilised society”.
“The Police family here in NSW feel deeply for their colleagues in the US and the families of those officers who have been robbed of their loved ones.”
“We know, only too well, the impact this can have when valued officers pay the ultimate price for their service to the community.”
