NSW: Police probe frightening home invasion

FIVE people have been threatened by a group of knife-wielding masked men in a frightening home invasion in Sydney’s south-west.

Police say “two or three” masked men armed with knives forced entry into the Kurrara Street home at Lansvale at around 7pm on Saturday and threatened five adult occupants into handing over an amount of cash.

Without incident, the group handed over a stash of cash to the intruders who fled the scene in an unknown direction. Police say it remains unclear whether they were on foot, or in a vehicle.
