NSW: Police probe girl’s brawl on Redfern train

POLICE are investigating a brawl between four teenage girls that occurred on a train near Redfern last week.

The incident occurred at about 10.45pm last Friday 21 August on a train travelling between Homebush and Redfern.

Officers from Redfern Local Area Command attended and spoke to one of the women, however were unable to find the other three people involved.

The first person is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 16 years of age, with a large build, brown shoulder-length curly hair and was wearing a white hooded jumper and black leggings.

The second person is also described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 13-years-old, with a medium build, brown/red hair and was wearing a Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs jersey and baseball cap and grey tracksuit pants.

The third person is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 17 years of age, with a solid to large build, long dark hair and was wearing a white t-shirt with ‘NETS’ written on the front, black tights and white sneakers.

Inquiries are continuing and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
