A dance party planned for this weekend in north-east NSW has been shut down by police.
‘Life’, a three-day ‘doof party’, was promoted to take place in the Tabulam/Bonalbo area, west of Casino, from today.
However, police say inquiries have confirmed the event does not have planning approval and has been deemed illegal.

“As such, the event will not go ahead and anyone who purchased tickets should contact their ticket provider for a refund,” NSW police said in a statement.
Investigations in relation to the event organisers are continuing.
Officers will attend the location from today to ensure the closure is enforced.
