NSW: Prisoner stabbed in back at Sydney jail

POLICE are investigating after a prisoner was stabbed in the back at a jail in Sydney’s north-west.

Emergency services were called to the Parklea Correctional Centre on Sentry Drive just before 2.30pm on Friday after a 28-year-old male inmate had been stabbed.

He was taken to hospital with a non-life threatening stab wound to the back.
