UPDATE: THREE young men have been killed in a horrifying head-on crash in Sydney’s north-west this afternoon.
Police say they were called to the Bells Line of Road at Kurmond just after 3.30pm after a Mitsubishi SUV and a Subaru sedan crashed head-on.
The three passengers of the Mitsubishi – all men believed to be aged in their 20s – died at the scene.

The male driver was taken to Westmead Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Subaru – a couple aged in their 80s – have also been taken to Westmead Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
A crime scene has been established and continues to be examined by forensic officers with the stretch of road closed in both directions.
Anyone who witnessed it and hasn’t yet spoken to police is urged to contact investigators.

The accident happened just after 3.30pm when two vehicles collided at high speed on the Bells Line of Road at Kurmond.
Three people died at the scene, while paramedics are still treating a number of other patients for various injuries.
The sex, ages and conditions of those involved remain unclear.
Dozens of emergency services remain on scene, with the Bells Line of Road closed in both directions.
A crime scene has been established. Motorists have been advised to avoid the area if possible.
