A TODDLER remains in a serious condition in hospital after being struck by a car in a West Gosford parking lot on Thursday.
The 17-month-old boy was hit by a 4WD as it reversed from a parking spot at a park off Racecourse Drive at about 10.40am.
He suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Gosford Hospital before being flown to the Westmead Children’s Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

The driver of the 4WD, a 22-year-old man from Kariong, stopped and rendered assistance before he too was taken to Gosford Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Police from Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are still investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
