NSW, Vic record 18k new COVID cases, 45 deaths

New South Wales has recorded a further 27 COVID-related deaths along with 10,463 new infections.

That’s an increase from 8201 cases recorded on Tuesday.

Hospital admissions have fallen from 1583 to 1478.

There are currently 92 people in ICU, down from 96.

Meantime, Victoria has recorded 8149 new cases of COVID-19 along with 18 deaths.

The number of patients being treated in hospital has fallen from 441 to 397.

The state currently has 68 patients in ICU with 13 people being ventilated.
