NSW: Woman charged over domestic stabbing

A WOMAN has been charged with repeatedly stabbing her partner in the back, torso and legs during a frenzied attack inside their Sydney home.

It’s alleged an argument broke out between the pair inside their Landy Avenue home at Penrith about 10pm on Thursday.

Police were called after the 49-year-old woman allegedly lunged at her 50-year-old partner with a knife, stabbing him multiple times.


He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition with wounds to his back, torso and leg.

The woman was arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station where she was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
