A woman is due to appear in Sydney’s Central Local Court on Wednesday, charged with stealing a quarter of a million dollars.
Newtown Police were contacted by a business in St Peters, after $258,538 was allegedly transferred from the business into a private account, between February and March 2016.
A 34-year-old employee was arrested and taken to Day Street Police Station where she was charged with 34 counts of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception.

The woman, from Bankstown, was refused bail.
