NSW: Woman cut free from crash wreckage

A WOMAN had to be cut free from the wreckage of her car overnight after it mounted a roundabout and crashed into a tree in Sydney’s west.

Police say the 27-year-old woman was driving a black Toyota Corolla sedan along Victoria Street in Wetherill Park at about 9.30pm when she lost control, drove over the roundabout at Wetherill Street, and collided with a tree on Victoria Street.

The woman was trapped for almost an hour before being cut free and taken to Westmead Hospital with leg injuries.

No one else was in the car at the time.
