NSW: Woman seriously hurt in driveway crash
A WOMAN has been found by her neighbour unconscious with serious injuries following a horrifying accident in the driveway of her home in Sydney’s west overnight.
Police say the 25-year-old woman had wedged her Holden Astra against a pole in the driveway of the Bossley Park home shortly before 10pm after accidentally stepping on the accelerator when exiting the car to open a gate.
The woman’s head was left pinned in the car’s open door, rendering her unconscious.
A neighbour removed her from the car and called for help before commencing CPR,
She’s was rushed by ambulance to Liverpool Hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
