A YOUNG man has been seriously injured after the trail bike he was riding collided with a sedan at a roundabout in Sydney’s west.
The accident happened at around 6.35pm on Saturday when the two vehicles came to grief at the intersection of Myrtle and Upwey Streets.
Police say the rider of the dirt bike, a male believed to be aged in his teens, was treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed by ambulance to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Toyota sedan, a man believed to be aged in his 20s, was not injured during the incident.
A crime scene was established and investigations into the crash are continuing.
