NT man charged over child sex offences at primary school

A MAN has been arrested and charged with a number of child sex offences following a string of incidents at a primary school in the Northern Territory.

The 49-year-old man is accused of having “indecent dealings” with a number of female students at Palmerston Primary School over the past 12 months.

It remains unclear what position the man held at the school.

He has since been charged with four counts of indecent dealings with a child under 16 years and another three counts of attempted indecent dealings with a child under 16.

The school has been in contact with parents and has urged anyone with information to contact police.

The 49-year-old man was expected to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
