Nurse charged with stealing, using elderly patient’s credit card

A NSW nurse has been charged with stealing an elderly patient’s credit card.

Police say the 38-year-old woman stole the credit card from a 77-year-old patient and fraudulently used it to purchase goods at a local shopping centre in Gosford earlier this year.

The woman was caught out after a complaint was made to police, who then launched an investigation.

She has been charged with dishonestly obtain property by deception and is due to face Woy Woy Local Court on Tuesday 1 November .
