Sickening footage showing two New Zealand schoolboys bullying a disabled student has gone viral online, with the principal of the school warning the pair to get out of town.

In the footage, the two boys can be seen kicking the student’s wheelchair before pulling it out from underneath him causing him to fall to the ground.

The horrifying footage caused outrage online, with the two boys involved receiving death threats.

Principal of James Cook High in south Auckland, Vaughn Couillault, spoke to 3NEWS, explaining that he had advised the boys families to flee town.

“My advice to both of their sets of whanau was to get them out of Auckland for a serious few months, because I have genuine fears for their safety,” Mr  Couillault said.
