Olympic shooter Michael Diamond is due to face a New South Wales Court on Tuesday, after he was slapped with weapon and drink driving charges.
The two-time Olympic gold medallist will front Raymond Terrace Local Court after Police allegedly found a shotgun and 150 rounds of ammunition in his car at Nelson Bay, near Newcastle in May.
Police say he didn’t want to blow in the bag but a blood test revealed a blood alcohol reading of 0.159.

It’s previously been claimed that he had fought with his brother at a nearby home the same night.
Chef De Mission Kitty Chiller said after news of the arrest broke that it was up to Shooting Australia to decide whether or not he should be nominated for the Rio Games.
