One critical after double stabbing

TWO men have been rushed to hospital, one of them in a critical condition, after being stabbed at a home in Sydney.

Emergency services were called to a house on Shepherd Street at Chippendale about 8.40am on Saturday.

They arrived to find two men, aged in their 20s, with multiple stab wounds following an apparent “targeted attack”.

Both men were rushed to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment.

One man is in a serious but stable condition, while the other is listed as ‘critical’, police said.

“We understand the stabbing was targeted and relates to a personal issue between the parties – all of whom are known to each other,” NSW Police said in a statement.

Police are still searching for the attackers, believed to be at least two males.

They were both wearing dark hooded tops and were last seen running along Daniels Street, towards Buckland Street immediately after the attack.

Anyone who may have seen the pair running from the scene, or has relevant dash cam footage to call Redfern Police Station on (02) 8303 5199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
