A MAN has died after his truck rolled down the side of a mountain near Wongawallen on Thursday afternoon.
According to police, the truck was travelling along Tamborine-Oxenford Road at 3.00pm when it left the road and crashed down the embankment, leaving the driver trapped.
Police and emergency services were quick to attend the scene and removed the man from the truck.

Unfortunately, he died a short time later.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
Motorists are being warned that only one lane of Tamborine-Oxenford Road is open at the moment as crews work to fix the guardrail.
Traffic management will be in place throughout the day.
It’s not the only accident on southeast Queensland roads, with another man in a critical condition in hospital this morning after an accident in Springwood overnight.
It’s believed he was travelling north on the M1 around 9.10pm when he stopped on the shoulder of the road to inspect the roof top cargo.
Whist inspecting the cargo he has been struck by a passing vehicle.
The man, believed to be in his 30’s, has been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the other vehicle stopped and has been interviewed by police.
Investigations are continuing.
