One dead, four injured in Eastern Creek crash

A MAN in his 20s has been killed and four others injured in a horror crash in Sydney’s west.

The accident happened where the M4 meets the M7 at Eastern Creek around 2.10am on Thursday.

Police said a Nissan Tiida flipped after smashing into a barrier.

Sadly, a male passenger aged in his 20s suffered life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.

The driver, a 22-year-old man, and three passengers were taken to Westmead Hospital.

Police said their injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.

The driver was also expected to undergo mandatory drug and alcohol testing.

The crash site was declared a crime scene and examined by officers from Crash Investigation Unit.
