A TWO-car crash has left one person dead and another injured at Irrewarra, west of Geelong.
Police said a white Toyota 4WD was travelling in an easterly direction along Ryans Road when it collided with a black Holden sedan travelling south along Warrowie Road at around 8.20am yesterday.
Both vehicles ploughed into a paddock before the Toyota flipped onto its roof.

Sadly, the driver of the Holden, a 50-year-old Colac man, died at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, a 28-year-old Moonee Ponds man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries
Both drivers were the only occupants of their vehicles.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation spent the morning examining the scene.
