At least one patient is believed to be in a serious condition with multiple fractures.
A fleet of emergency service vehicles, including 15 ambulances and three helicopters, were dispatched to the scene.
“Due to the remote location of the landslide it took rescuers some time to reach the site,” police said.
Police have established a command post at the end of Falls Road and are urging members of the public to stay away.
