One of our favourite Aussie TV shows could be making a comeback!

It may be time to start dusting off your boots and cowboy hats, because McLeod’s Daughters, one of the most popular TV drama’s of the 2000’s, is rumoured to be making a comeback.

Former co-stars Michaela Banas and Simmone Mackinnon, who played Kate and Stevie on the show, both posted a McLeod’s daughters collage photo on their social media accounts on Thursday, with the caption “Watch this space”.

The throwback photo and subtle hint at a possible reunion/reboot sent fans into a frenzy.

” I’ve started watching it again from season 1! Best show ever! Please bring it back,” one person wrote.

Please do Channel Nine, Mcleods daughters was the best Aussie series ever!” commented another.

A Nine News spokesperson confirmed to the Sydney Morning Herald that they were “in early talks to see how the show could be revived”.

The much-loved country TV series ran for seven years from 2001.
