One person has died in a fiery helicopter crash in north-west Queensland this morning.
The chopper was reportedly being used to muster cattle on a property on Sedan Dip Road near Cloncurry when it struck power lines and crashed just after 7.15am.
Despite desperate attempts by emergency services, the pilot, believed to be aged in his 40s, died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is at the property conducting investigations in coordination with other agencies.
