QUEENSLAND has recorded one new local case of COVID-19.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk revealed on Thursday morning, the 10-year-old brother of the four-year-old girl who recently tested positive in Logan has also contracted the virus.
The boy has been in home quarantine during his infectious period and poses no risks to the community.

“Absolutely no concerns about that,” the Premier told reporters this morning.
There are now 21 active cases in the state.
More than 100 families remain in home quarantine who have been linked to the recent outbreak in the Logan and Beenleigh areas, sparked by a COVID-positive truck driver.
