One person hospitalised after car erupts into flames at Southport
ONE person has been hospitalised following a fiery crash at Southport this morning.
The two-car accident happened at the intersection of Tweed Street and Eugaree Street around 7.00am.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said one of the vehicles burst into flames.
Two people, a man and woman, were treated at the scene by paramedics.
One person declined transport to hospital, whilst the other was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with minor injuries.
