One of QLD’s ‘most wanted’ arrested in NSW

One of Queensland’s ‘Most Wanted’ has been arrested on Sydney’s outskirts over the weekend.

Officers stormed their way in to a home in Glossodia on Saturday night where they found the 29-year-old hiding underneath a child’s bed.

It came as a result of extensive inquiries whereabouts of the man who was listed as a target of Operation ROAM, which is an annual national campaign by police and Crime Stoppers aimed at locating and arresting 19 of Australia’s most wanted fugitives.


He was arrested and taken to Windsor Police Station where a warrant for his arrest was executed.

He was also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm relating to a domestic violence incident which occurred in Marayong in July 2016.

The man was refused bail and will appear before Blacktown Local Court today.
