One woman has been caught and another remains on the run after escaping from a low custody prison on the Gold Coast.
The pair escaped from the Numinbah Correctional Centre on Friday night.
On Sunday afternoon, one of the escapees, a 19-year-old woman, was recaptured in Redcliffe.

She was charged with one count of escaping lawful custody and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Jahnessa Jerome, 24, remains outstanding.
The woman is Aboriginal, about 173cm tall with brown and red hair and a tattoo on her left hand.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police.
