A one-year-old boy has died in an early  morning car crash in Queensland's north.

A one-year-old boy has died in an early morning car crash in Queensland’s north.

The child died after a 31-year-old man’s car left the road at Armstrong Beach, near Sarina, in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate the child but he was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man was taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a serious condition.
