A man has been charged over the death of a man, who was killed in an alleged one-punch attack outside a pub in Queensland overnight.
The pair are understood to have just finished watching the State of Origin decider at a hotel on Aerodrome Road in Caboolture, when they became involved in an altercation around 10pm.
During the fight, police said a 29-year-old man allegedly punched a 49-year-old man in the face, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head on the concrete.

Emergency services began CPR, but despite their desperate attempts to save the 49-year-old, he was declared deceased at the hotel around 11pm.
It’s understood the victim’s partner was at the scene and witnessed the fatal altercation.
The 29-year-old Caboolture man left the scene a short time later, but was tracked down by police on a nearby street.
He has since been charged with unlawful striking causing death, with his case mentioned in the Caboolture Magistrates Court today.
The man did not apply for bail and was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on November 24.
