P-plater busted drink driving after crashing into parked car, boat and trailer

A P-plater has been charged with drink driving after crashing into two cars, a boat and a trailer in Strathfield overnight.

Just before 11.00pm, a BMW M3 sedan allegedly collided with the parked vehicles on Chalmers Road.

Responding officers stopped two men walking nearby. A 29-year-old man, who is believed to have been driving the car, was arrested after returning a positive breath test.

He was taken to Auburn Police Station where he returned a breath analysis of 0.106.

The man has since been charged with mid range drink driving, fail to exchange particulars at the scene of a collision, and not display P plates.

He is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on Thursday 29 June.
