Pac Fair paves the way for budding book-worms

BROADBEACH State School students are set to win big as part of Pacific Fair’s ‘Points 4 Pac Fair Kids’ campaign, that kicked off on Monday May 26 and runs until Sunday June 22.

If Broadbeach State School win, they’ll take home $20,000 in cash to buy a few much-needed items including Take Home Readers, a new Sound System or a new PA System for their school.

Broadbeach State School Deputy Principal, Wayne Jenks, said “We are so thrilled to be part of Pacific Fair’s Points 4 Pac Fair Kids promotion. It’s great to see such a prominent local business give back to the community and help our school fund much needed resources.”

“We plan to purchase new Take Home Readers for our classrooms to improve our student’s learning and development.”

Twenty local schools have registered for ‘Points 4 Pac Fair Kids’ to win a share of $45,000 cash and a range of weekly prizes for their school. Some of the prizes on offer include classroom resources, iPads and more!

The initiative encourages customers to help their local school earn points just by shopping at Pacific Fair. Customers simply spend a combined $75 or more in any Pacific Fair store to earn points.

There are even double points on offer for purchases made after 5:30pm until 9:00pm on Thursday nights and in Coles Supermarket on Sunday 1, 8 and 15 June.

With news of the recent budget changes, this campaign has come at just the right time to support local schools in receiving much needed funding and resources.

So much so that schools are rallying support from students, teachers, families and friends.

“We’ve been inundated with enquiries from customers about how they can support their local school,” said Linda Frewen, Senior Marketing Manager at Pacific Fair.

“We are extremely excited about launching this fantastic initiative aimed at making a real contribution to schools on the Gold Coast.”

Until Sunday 22 June, customers can take their receipts to Customer Service to earn points for their school.
