Pair arrested after three teens stabbed at house party
A man and boy have been arrested over the horrific stabbing of three teenagers at a house party in NSW.
It happened just before 11.00pm on Saturday 3 August, when a group of males gatecrashed a party at a home in Northmead.
“Police will allege the males assaulted and stabbed a 17-year-old boy in the back before assaulting and stabbing 19-year-old man in the shoulder and back<” NSW Police said.
“Another man, 19, came to his defence before the males allegedly slashed open his hand with the knife.”
All three teenagers were taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition, with one requiring surgery and another suffering fractured ribs.
Following ongoing investigations, detectives arrested a 20-year-old man at Acacia Gardens and a 16-year-old boy at a home in Blacktown about 6.30am today.
The pair were taken to Blacktown Police Station, where they are assisting officers with their inquiries.
It’s understood investigators are conducting inquiries into a number of assaults and other public acts of violence, which are believed to linked.
