TWO people are tonight behind bars charged with murder after a man was found stabbed to death at a home in the NSW Central Tablelands.
Homicide Squad detectives established Strike Force Armor to investigate the murder of Chris Whiteley, 69, who was found dead inside his Main Street home at Lithgow on Wednesday, 7 September.
A post mortem revealed that Mr Whiteley had been stabbed multiple times.

As a result of the Strike Force’s investigation, police tonight confirmed that detectives today arrested a 22-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman at a home in Wallerawang.
The pair was taken to Lithgow Police station where they were each charged with murder and firearms offences.
They were both remanded in custody and will appear before Lithgow Local Court tomorrow.
