TWO men have been arrested and charged with smuggling almost $1 million worth of MDMA into Australia.
The pair, aged 24 and 30, is accused of importing 6kg of the drug into Sydney from Switzerland in March.
The drugs were allegedly concealed within two separate consignments of water filters, police said.

In a statement, NSW Police said the MDMA had an estimated street value of around $900,000.
Following investigations, detectives arrested a 30-year-old man on April 1.
The Italian National was charged with attempting to import a commercial quantity of border-controlled drug.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on Monday after handing himself into police at Surry Hills.
He too was charged with importing commercial quantity of a border-controlled drug.
The older man was due to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday, while the younger man was due to front Central Local Court.
