Pair injured in fight outside Gold Coast restaurant

A fight outside a restaurant and bar in Nobby’s Beach has landed two men in hospital.

The scuffle, allegedly involving a 33-year-old man and 28-year-old man, erupted on Chairlift Avenue around 11.30pm on Saturday.

Queensland Ambulance Paramedics were called to the scene following reports of an “alleged assault”.

Upon arrival, they treated the pair for head and facial injuries.

One man was then transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition, while the other was taken stable to Robina Hospital.

It’s not yet known what sparked the fight.

No charges have been laid at this stage.
