Pair storm pub armed with gun, machete in midnight heist

TWO men, one armed with a gun and the other a machete, have raided a pub on Sydney’s lower North Shore.

The armed pair smashed their way inside the Hunters Hill Hotel on Gladesville Road just after midnight.

Police said the hotel was closed, however, staff were still inside the premises, cleaning up at the time.
