Gold Coast Olympians and Paralympians will take part in another celebration today, with a parade to be held in Brisbane.
The Premier is hoping to welcome back as many athletes as possible, after a successful medal haul from the 2021 Olympics and Paralympics in Tokyo.
All returning Queensland athletes have now had enough time to return to the country and complete their quarantine.

It’s understood they’ll be celebrated with a parade through Brisbane, to be followed by a reception at City Hall.
Queensland’s athletes bring home 22 gold medals, 12 silver and 22 bronze over the two major events.
Festivities will get underway around lunchtime.
