Paramedics assess eight people after Gold Coast bus crash

Multiple people have been checked over by paramedics, after a Gold Coast bus was involved in a crash last night.

Emergency services rushed to the Gold Coast Highway in Mermaid Beach around 7.45 pm, following reports that a bus and car had collided.

Paramedics assessed eight people at the scene, including three people who had to be taken to hospital.

A man in his 20s suffered neck pain, a woman in her 40s suffered shoulder and hip pain and a woman in her 30s suffered pelvic pain.

All three were taken in stable conditions to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

While five others were looked over at the scene but declined transport to hospital.
