Paramedics called to two Gold Coast car crashes

A couple of Gold Coasters were hospitalised overnight, as a result of separate crashes.

Emergency services were first called to a two-car crash in Burleigh Heads around 7.30 pm.

It happened at the intersection of Bermuda Street and Reedy Creek Road.


A woman was assessed at the scene for neck pain briefly before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

She’s understood to be in a stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

A short time later, crews were called to the M1 in Pimpama.

It’s understood a car and truck had collided just before 8.00 am, with one person assessed at the scene.

They were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition as well.
