Paramedics kept busy with multiple crashes on the Gold Coast

FIVE people have been taken to hospital following three separate traffic crashes on the Gold Coast last night.

Ambulance crews were first called to the corner of Currumbin Creek and Tomewin Currumbin Creek roads at Currumbin Valley just after 7:30pm after a man lost control of his car and crashed into a barrier.

He was treated at the scene before being transported in a stable condition to the Tweed Hospital.


Then, around two hours later, two cars came to grief at the intersection of Mudgeeraba and Worongary roads in Mudgeeraba.

Three people were assessed and treated by paramedics at the scene before they were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital. They too were all transported in a stable condition.

Finally, a woman was injured after she lost control of her car and crashed into a ditch on Nerang Connection Road near the M1 at Nerang just after midnight.

She suffered minor injuries and was also transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
